Hi all, I have recently purchased a dermaroller from off-line, of which i am waiting to arrive.... when it does i will create a diary including photos of different stages whilst using the roller soo everyone can see how efficent it is and if it actually works (hopefully it will - because i have alot of stretchmarks to get rid of!!) I thought i would start this log as i cannot find many before and after photos of the use of the roller on stretchmarks and hopefully it will help others on deciding whether or not to use it.

Welcome to the forum, dermalog.
I think it's a great idea (and not just because it was also exactly mine ;D )
The truth is I am very curious to see your photos. You could upload them here or open up your own blog , and post a link to it here.
Good luck!

I'v just done my first session to say so with a roller of 1 mm. I rolled the area on Sunday afternoon and I am still red and it stings (Monday 8pm). I'v read that it should fade away in about 3 days the most. I will keep an update here once I progress so that others can know what to expect.

Hi Homeroller,
I sent you an email but I think I was actually supposed to write in the forum instead, sorry!
I want to roll old white stretch marks on my stomach and sides with a 1.5 mm derma roller. My concern is that using the derma roller will cause discoloration of the normal skin around my stretch marks. Does this happen?
Is it better to get a 3-line derma roller (ie off the Dr Roller site) instead of an 8-line one because it is more narrow and could help me avoid any pricking of the normal, not stretch marked skin?
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks

I had the derma roller done by a professional a week ago.It was red for 2 days and after this the area has turned brown like its hyper pigmented or something.Im getting really worried that it might not go away.
